Itchō Hanabusa Galleries

Itchō Hanabusa (1652-1724) was a painter whose artwork recorded life around him in a fresh and lively manner. Some of his paintings were later copied by Rinshō Suzuki (1732-1804) for inclusion in woodblock-printed picture books. The titles of two of these books are shown below.
